Our Story

Perfection Pest Control started in 1998 with one truck, a handful of customers, and a simple approach: show up when you say you will, do the job right, and charge a fair price. That first year, we served a small circle of homes and businesses in Northern Kentucky. Most of those early customers came through word of mouth, neighbors telling neighbors about the company that actually fixed the problem.

Twenty-five years later, not much has changed about how we operate. We've grown from one truck to a full fleet. We serve over 10,000 homes across three states. We've added termite and wildlife services to our original general pest control offering. But we're still family-owned, still locally operated, and still picking up the phone when you call.

We've never been acquired by a national chain. We've turned down those offers more than once. The big companies rotate technicians through your neighborhood like interchangeable parts. You never see the same face twice. That's not how we work. Our technicians know their routes. They know your property. They remember what issues you've had before and what to watch for.

No door to door salespeople to interrupt your dinner or time with family.

What We Believe

We've built the company around a few principles that haven't changed since day one:

Honesty over upselling. If you don't need a service, we won't sell it to you. If a Bronze plan covers your situation, we're not going to push you into Platinum. We'd rather have a customer for ten years at the right price than lose one in six months because we oversold.

Local knowledge matters. The pests in Northern Kentucky aren't identical to what you'd find in Nashville or Indianapolis. Subterranean termites behave differently here than they do in the Deep South. Wildlife patterns follow our specific climate. Our technicians know this region because they live here and have worked here for years.

Prevention beats reaction. Treating after you see a roach is fine. Making sure roaches can't get inside in the first place is better. Our service plans are built around prevention: regular treatments, entry point sealing, and monitoring that catches problems early.

No hassles, no problem. Month-to-month service. Cancel anytime. We keep customers by doing good work, not by burying them in cancellation fees. Most of our customers have been with us for years because the service is consistent and the results are real.

Our Team

Every Perfection technician is:

- Licensed in Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana for general pest control, termite treatment, and wildlife management - QualityPro certified, meeting the highest standards in the pest management industry for training, business practices, and environmental responsibility - Background-checked before they ever set foot in your home - Continuously trained on new treatment methods, safety protocols, and product updates throughout the year

We don't hire seasonal temps and hand them a spray can. Our team includes technicians with 5, 10, and 15+ years of experience (owner is a 47 year veteran) at Perfection specifically. That experience shows in the quality of the work and the speed of accurate identification. When your technician looks at a bug and tells you it's an odorous house ant versus a carpenter ant, they know the difference because they've seen thousands of each.

Our office team handles scheduling, billing, and customer questions from our two locations in Union, KY and Fairfield, OH. When you call during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM), you're talking to someone local who can answer your questions and get you on the schedule.

Certifications and Affiliations

We hold ourselves to a higher standard than the minimum required for licensing. Our certifications and industry affiliations include:

- QualityPro Certified — The mark of excellence in pest management. QualityPro companies must meet rigorous standards for technician training, business practices, consumer protection, and environmental stewardship. Fewer than 3% of pest control companies in the U.S. earn this certification. We also received schools and food service QualityPro Certification. - National Pest Management Association (NPMA) — Member of the leading trade organization for the pest management industry. - Kentucky Pest Management Association (KPMA) — Active member supporting industry standards in the Commonwealth. - Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA) — Contributing to public education and industry advancement. - National Wildlife Control Operators Association (NWCOA) — Certification for wildlife removal and exclusion work. 2024 Operator of the year. - Best of Northern Kentucky — Recognized by our community for service excellence. - Best of Cincinnati — Voted among the top pest control providers in the Greater Cincinnati area.

These aren't plaques on a wall. Each one requires ongoing education, adherence to best practices, and accountability to industry standards. When we say our technicians are trained, these certifications are the proof.

Community

We live in the communities we serve. Our families go to school here, shop here, and attend the same events you do. Supporting the local community isn't a corporate initiative for us. It's just what you do when you're part of a place.

Over the years, we've supported local youth sports leagues, school fundraisers, community cleanup events, and charitable organizations across Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati. We sponsor events, donate services when families are in need, and show up when our community asks.

We also take our environmental responsibility seriously. Pest control involves chemicals, and we're careful about what we use, how much we use, and where we apply it. Our QualityPro certification requires adherence to Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles, which means we use the least amount of product necessary to solve the problem. When non-chemical methods work (exclusion, sanitation recommendations, habitat modification), we use those first.
